What is ESG? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. ESG considerations have become increasingly important in recent years as investors, financiers, consumers, governments, and many different stakeholders demand more transparency and accountability from businesses, and as companies recognize the long-term benefits of sustainable and ethical practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Environmental component of ESG focuses on a company’s impact on the environment, including its use of natural resources, carbon emissions, waste management, and pollution control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Social component looks at a company’s impact on society, including labor practices, employee relations, community involvement, human rights, customer satisfaction, and data privacy and protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Governance component evaluates a company’s leadership and management practices, including board structure and composition, executive compensation, bribery and corruption, internal controls, risk management, and corporate culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
